Maimon Memorial Garden

A generous gift from the Maimon Family enabled us to redesign and significantly expand our popular Edible Landscape Garden. Dedicated in the summer of 2009 in memory of Dr. Samuel N. Maimon, this garden was the first Master Plan project to be completed. The garden showcases a diverse assortment of herbs, vegetables, and fruits that are arranged ornamentally in a large circular design. A stroll through this garden is a true delight for the senses, providing plenty of opportunities to smell, taste, and touch the plants on display. Each summer, a dedicated team of volunteers helps us harvest more than 1,000 pounds of produce from this garden, which we donate to The Foodbank, a local hunger-relief agency. The Maimon Memorial Garden is also a popular site for Outdoor Weddings!
